Insurance and Costs
Most treatments are covered by medical insurance.
Because most varicose veins are caused by vein disease, their treatment is usually covered by most insurance plans. Also, insurance is more likely to cover treatment if you have vein symptoms or interference with daily activities. We are on the following insurance plans:
Anthem, Aetna, Medical Mutual, Summa, UH Employee, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, Multiplan, Tricare, Medicare
For treatment that is not covered, we offer financing options such as CareCredit and will work with you to use your HSA and FSA accounts. This should help give you the financial peace of mind to get the treatment you need to relieve your symptoms of vein disease.
Payment options
Cash and Check
Credit Card
We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
CareCredit*
We accept CareCredit, which is a credit card designed specifically for out-of-pocket healthcare costs when medical insurance doesn’t cover your charges. Vein Clinics of Cleveland is one of more than 200,000 providers nationwide that accepts CareCredit. You’ll have access to a revolving line of credit for medical expenses—usually including copayments and deductibles. A variety of financing term lengths, promotions, and APRs are available to meet your needs.
Applying for CareCredit is quick and easy—by phone or online directly with CareCredit—or in our office with the help of our Office Managers. Credit decisions are almost instantaneous, and you may be able to use your new account on the spot.
For answers to your questions, visit CareCredit.com or call 1.800.677.0718, or you can apply online.

FSA and HSA
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) are other options that will usually pay for your vein-related medical expenses. Please check with your plan's administrator about your options.
